We spend a lot of time on the water jet skiing, knee boarding, tubing, and skiing. Elyse is a pro at knee boarding, as is Alex.
Proof that I am having fun at cabin
My Mind is Thinking School. . .Even on Vacation
Well, here I am at our family cabin enjoying the sunshine, lake, and time with family. Although I told myself not to, I did bring some school work along as I am preparing for the upcoming school year. I have finished reading various books over the summer and am excited about making some changes in my classroom, not only in structure and activities but also on physical arrangement. As my husband will attest too, I spend a lot of time “twittering” with fellow educators finding activities within technology to utilize with my students. I am very excited for this coming year to continue podcasting and venture into videocasting and blogging with the students. I am hunting for a grant to purchase some iTouches for the classroom as I am learning about so many valuable tools for students that can be used through this mode – besides I am addicted to mine. I just returned from a 3 mile walk, wanted to make a quick blog comment, and now it is time to return to the sunshine and lake.
Thinking about school. . . .
As I am trying to decide what blogging process to use for the upcoming school year, I reminded myself that I am a continual learner also. My mind is sometimes on “overload” when considering the different communication modes, but it is also an exciting time in education. Thus, I am messing around and “tweeking” my blog page. Will this be the blogging system to use next year??? Stay tuned to find out.
